These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of haddoakforsantaclarita.com and of any email or text message program operated by the Committee to Elect Brett Haddoak to Santa Clarita City Council 2026 (FPPC #1492182) ("the Committee," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this site, submitting a form, or joining our email or text message lists, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this site and do not subscribe to our messages.
1. Who We Are
This site is published by the Committee to Elect Brett Haddoak to Santa Clarita City Council 2026. It is a political campaign website. Nothing on it is legal, financial, or professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to submit information through this site or to join our email or text message lists, and at least 18 years old to volunteer for activities that require a signed agreement. By submitting a form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and is your own to give.
3. Text Message Program
By providing your mobile phone number to the Committee, whether through a form on this site, by texting our keyword to our campaign number, or by giving it to a campaign volunteer, you consent to receive recurring automated campaign text messages, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, from or on behalf of the Committee at that number.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and it is not a condition of volunteering for or otherwise supporting the campaign.

- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to end messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
- Reply HELP at any time for help, or write to privacy@haddoak4santaclarita.com.
- Supported carriers may change without notice, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- To stop messages you must reply STOP from the mobile number that receives them. If your mobile number changes, please tell us so that we do not text someone else.
How we handle the mobile number you give us is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Email
When you give us your email address, you agree to receive campaign email from the Committee. Every campaign email contains an unsubscribe link, and you may also unsubscribe by writing to privacy@haddoak4santaclarita.com.
You agree that the email address and phone number you give us are yours to give, and that you will not subscribe anyone else without their permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use this site lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not submit false, misleading, threatening, harassing, obscene, or unlawful content through our forms.
- Do not impersonate another person or submit someone else's contact information without their consent.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to this site, its servers, or its data, or to disrupt its operation.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape, harvest from, or flood this site or its forms.
We may block, remove, or decline to respond to any submission, and may restrict access to this site, at our discretion.
6. What You Send Us
Messages, comments, and other content you send us become information we may use to run the campaign, including internal discussion and follow-up. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential or that you would not want quoted. We are not obligated to respond to or to publish any submission.
7. Intellectual Property
The text, images, logos, and design of this site are the property of the Committee or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share and quote campaign material in order to support or discuss the campaign. You may not use campaign material in a way that suggests an endorsement, affiliation, or authorization that does not exist, or in any material that appears to be authorized by the Committee when it is not.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
This site links to and relies on third-party services, including our email and text messaging vendors, our analytics, and social media. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. No Warranty
This site and our messages are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, or that any message will be delivered on time or at all.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Committee, the candidate, and campaign staff and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site or of our email or text messages, including message or data charges billed by your carrier. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the greatest extent permitted.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold the Committee harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this site, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of another person's information without their consent.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and changing the "last updated" date. Continuing to use this site, or remaining subscribed to our messages, after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
